Logistics Supervisor, 2nd Shift (Tulsa)

Shift starts at 2:00 PM

Responsibilities:
• Working Supervisor position of a small production team for a light
manufacturing/ distribution, fast paced environment
• Scheduling and loading daily route trucks, ensuring they are loaded safely and efficiently according to the schedule for the next days deliveries
• Finishing current day’s production needed for next day’s deliveries
• Loading customers with the help of overhead crane and forklift until close of hours
• Train and develop production employees
• Inventory management and accountability
• Work with production team to ensure equipment is maintained including
ordering/ replacing parts as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe shop daily

Preferred Skills:
• One to three years’ experience as a Supervisor or Lead in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Forklift and Overhead experience
• Clean driving record for the last three years
• Hands on mechanical experience
• Knowledge of OSHA policies and procedures
• Physical requirements, candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in Just in Time manufacturing
• Strong communication skills, ability to interact with multiple levels within the company are desired

CDL – Day Routes (Kansas City)

Job Description

Immediate full-time position available for a CDL driver. Must have a Class A license with air brakes and flatbed experience. Local/regional deliveries only, home every night. Not a route job – Local truck drivers only.

Specific Duties May Include:

  • Treating customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Conducting a safe work zone during each job site
  • Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely
  • Documenting every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our cameras
  • Providing warehouse support as needed
  • Completing a thorough load check on your truck before leaving the branch, ensuring that all delivery materials are firmly secured, and all parts of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state and local regulations
  • Working in cooperation with the Delivery Material Handler to determine where to set the materials and unload them
  • Completing and filing all logs and required government paperwork in a precise and timely manner
  • Providing the customer with an invoice on completion of each delivery and collecting the entire due amount on COD deliveries
  • This position does not require over the road travel.

Specific qualifications include:

  • Valid CDL – Class A
  • The ability to lift 75 – 100 pounds repeatedly
  • Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
  • Forklift and truck-mounted forklift experience is preferred

Metal Roofing Estimator / Project Manager (Kansas City)

Review on-line information from Bid News, ISQFT and other various sources to target metal roofing projects to bid. Utilize ConstructConnect takeoff and/or AppliCad takeoff to scale plans for bid.

  • Accurately prepare roofing project bids and submit to requesting bidders.
  • Create AppliCad roof drawings to produce roofing estimates from information provided by customers.
  • Interface with walk-in customers to take orders, assist with plans, explain installation process, and bid projects.
  • Ensure information on a quote contains all necessary information to release to production for fabrication.
  • Convert Quotes to Sales through follow up and then prepare in GP to release to production.
  • Determine material and production requirements, check current inventory status to fulfill needs of order and/or work with Purchasing to get PO’s and timeline.
  • Work with Production Manager and Production Supervisors to determine timeline and capacity to ensure we can meet customer’s expectations for delivery.
  • Prepare shop drawings per manufacturer requirements as needed.
  • Maintain list of orders in production per ship date, working with other project managers and production employees to ensure we meet required delivery dates.

Preferred Skills

  • 2 years of installing metal roofs or estimating experienced is preferred
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Experience with AutoCAD, AppliCad, ISQFT, or Microsoft Dynamics will be beneficial
