The MPI StrongSeam B-Deck is a widely used structural metal decking panel known for its versatility, strength, and ease of installation. Designed for short to medium-span applications ranging from three to ten feet, it serves as an ideal structural substrate for roofing, flooring, siding, canopies, awnings and commercial fencing. With a lightweight yet durable 1.5-inch deep profile and a 36-inch width, B-Deck features six ribs, each six inches wide, with an interlocking male and female leg for a secure sidelap connection. MPI stocks 22-gauge G60 galvanized panels in 20- and 25-foot lengths, ensuring quick availability for construction projects. StrongSeam B-Deck is available by special order in 20-gauge, 18-gauge, and 16-gauge steel, prime-painted, or by special order, G90 galvanized.

B-Deck is a cost-effective solution favored for its adaptability across various construction needs. Available in multiple gauges, it can support spans of up to 11 feet depending on gauge thickness and back-span conditions. Its smooth, non-composite design accommodates rigid board insulation and built-up roofing loads, making it a reliable choice for commercial and industrial applications.
