LF1 Panel

The MPI StrongSeam LF1 Panel is an architectural flat pan panel featuring a 1” standing seam that utilizes a mechanical seaming process. Primarily designed for installation over a solid deck, it can also be adapted for use over closely spaced open purlins. This versatile panel is available in both 26 and 24-gauge options and incorporates clip offsets for installation. A minimum recommended slope of 2:12 ensures proper drainage, and pan striations are a requirement for all 26-gauge panels.

Offering varying coverage widths, the StrongSeam LF1 panel comes in a standard 17” coverage for 26 gauge and options of 13”, 17”, and 21” for 24-gauge. The 26-gauge panels are available in 24 SMP colors, along with galvalume, while the 24-gauge panels boast an even wider selection of 32 PVDF stock colors, plus galvalume and gloss white. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the LF1 panel holds a UL Class A Fire rating and a UL Class IV Impact rating, signifying its robust performance and safety.

The StrongSeam LF1 system is constructed from high-quality materials, making it suitable for both light commercial and residential applications. The elimination of end laps during installation ensures maximum weather protection and watertight integrity, even in curved applications.

Testing

MPI StrongSeam LF1 Panels are tested to ensure that they meet your building requirements in fire and impact ratings. The StrongSeam LF1 Panel meets or exceeds the Class IV impact and Class A fire ratings.
