LF2 Panel

The MPI StrongSeam LF2 Panel is an architectural and structural standing seam roof system designed for installation over open purlins or solid decking. A key feature is its 2-inch standing seam, which is mechanically seamed to create either a single or double lock. These panels offer design flexibility with options for smooth, striated, or two-bead finishes and are available in a range of paint-to-order colors. This panel is recommended for roofs with a minimum slope of 0.5:12. When ordered with the factory-applied sealant bead, the StrongSeam SL175 can be used for Watertight Warranty roofing installations.

Standard coverage widths for the LF2 panels are 16 and 18 inches, with a 2-inch lock forming rib. These panels are typically manufactured in 24-gauge steel, with 22-gauge available by special order. Offering both durability and aesthetic choices, the LF2 system includes 32 PVDF stock colors in 24-gauge, along with galvalume options, and is also available in 22-gauge (Dark Bronze, Matte Black and other colors by special order). The LF2 panels features a UL Class A fire rating and a UL Class IV impact rating, ensuring a robust and secure roofing solution.
